In answer to the question: "Is it true that the world will end in May 21, 2011?  I have this to say.

The second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is very soon. His appearance is so soon that the signs of His second coming are everywhere.  When He comes back, this present world as we know it will come to an end. But no one knows the day and the hour of His return (Matt. 24:36).  It is clear from the mouth of Jesus Himself that it will be shear speculation on the part of anybody and a fruitless exercise to arrive at any date, whether it be May 21, 2011. or any other date. Having said that, there are three major signs of Christ's second coming from His own words in Matthew 24:

1) Matt. 24:11, 24 -  DECEIT is a major sign of the end time. Of course, satan is the great deceiver. He is in control of very many churches today vs.15. Men and women are being deceived into thinking they are worshipping God when in fact they are worshipping satan (II Thess. 2:3,4).

2) Matt. 24:14 - SOUL WINNING is another sign of the end of the world. The end will not come until every one that Jesus came to save has heard the gospel and has become saved. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Rom. 10:17). Evangelism by radio, satellite, TV, online, etc., blanketing the entireglobe, has never been so relentless.

3) Matt. 24:32 - THE BIRTH OF A NEW ISRAEL IN 1948 is the picture of the parable of the fig tree in bloom, but without fruit for Christ the messiah (Mark 11:12-14).

I will counsel that you read and meditate on these  bible verses. May the Holy Spirit give you insight
